Starbucks App just launched in India and here's why it's convenient

Starbucks has officially launched its new mobile app with the aim to help users have a convenient experience while paying for their in-store purchases and earn loyalty ‘Stars’ through their My Starbucks Rewards account.

This initiative makes Tata Starbucks the first major retailer in India to offer customers a mobile payment option.
Starbucks robust global digital ecosystem that is prevalent in countries like the US is now finally entering India.
The app is available for download on iPhone and Android devices.

How does it work
Users can simply pay for their favorite beverage or food item with their mobile device by scanning a barcode linked to their registered Starbucks Card.
The app also allows customers to register for the My Starbucks Rewards program, earn Stars, track and redeem their rewards, manage their accounts and gain access to new product information and promotions.

It also allows users to add balance in their Starbucks card or now, account.

Starbucks operates in India through a partnership with the Tata Group and currently has 88 stores here.
