  • Delicia Cordon filed a lawsuit against Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy claiming he failed to protect her during a home invasion last month.
  • Cordon also alleges that McCoy would "often brutally beat his dog," and would "aggressively, physically discipline and beat his young son."
  • Cordon does not, however, blame McCoy for playing a role in the home invasion in Milton, Georgia.
  • She says McCoy "permitted a hazardous condition to exist" by installing a new security system and cameras and denying her access to arm the system.

LeSean McCoy's ex-girlfriend is suing the Buffalo Bills running back for failing to protect her after she was bloodied, beaten and had $133,000 worth of jewelry stolen during a home invasion last month.

Delicia Cordon also alleges in a lawsuit filed in Fulton County, Georgia on Friday that McCoy would "often brutally beat his dog," and would "aggressively, physically discipline and beat his young son."

Without blaming McCoy for playing a role in the home invasion, Cordon accuses him of breaching his duty to protect her because he owned the home. The suit also names McCoy's former University of Pittsburgh teammate tamaracks Porter.

While the suit does not accuse McCoy or Porter of conducting or ordering the home invasion, it argues that the running back had "actual and constructive knowledge of criminal activity existing on the property on July 10, 2018."

The suit says that the person who invaded the home "indicated [to Cordon] that he knew McCoy."

Cordon also says McCoy "permitted a hazardous condition to exist" by installing a new security system and cameras and denying her access to arm the system.

Details of the lawsuit were first reported by WKBW-TV in Buffalo.

A phone and email message left with McCoy's lawyer, Don Samuel, was not immediately returned.

Cordon's face was bloodied during a home invasion in the early hours of July 10. Police in Milton, Georgia, are still investigating and have not identified a suspect.

In a recording of an emergency dispatcher from the night of the incident obtained by TMZ, police and medical staff were sent to the hope o investigate a "home invasion," and "in reference to a female who was assaulted, hit in the head, and locked in the bathroom."

According to a police log obtained by Deadspin, police found two women with injuries at the home.

The caller, listed as Cordon, V., noted that the window to her son's room was "open and a sheet is tied like someone went out from the 2nd floor."

Five minutes into the call, at 3:28 a.m., the log says: "The caller poss thinks her ex-boyfriend poss set her up."

In July, a now-deleted Instagram post showed Cordon with blood dripping down her bruised face. The caption accused McCoy of being a "WomanBeater."

At the time, McCoy released a statement denying allegations, saying he hadn't had contact with Cordon in months.

"For the record, the totally baseless and offensive claims made against me today on social media are completely false," McCoy wrote. "Furthermore, I have not had any direct contact with any of the people involved in months."

Cordon and McCoy have been involved in an ongoing legal battle for months, TMZ Sports reported last month.

According to the report, McCoy filed a lawsuit trying to get Cordon removed from a home he owns in Georgia.

TMZ also reports that in the court documents, Cordon accused McCoy of secretly having people remove her belongings from the house shortly after the pair had discussed getting married and that McCoy later cut power to the home.
