Stalking cases have more than doubled in these two regions

As per a data from the National Crime Records Bureau, the number of stalking cases went up in Maharashtra and Delhi.
Maharashtra topped the list as the state reported 1,399 cases. Delhi came second as the cases more than doubled from 541 in 2014 to 1,124 in 2015.
The crimes against women in Delhi also jumped to 17,104 in 2015, up from 15,265 in 2014.
These included 5,367 cases of molestation (4,179 in 2014, 3,345 in 2013) and 2,199 rape cases, again up from 2,096 in the previous year.
According to NCRB, most victims of sexual assault were in the age group of 18-30. In 90% of the cases, the accused were known to the victims.
