Kroll's Celebrity Brand Valuation Report​

Kroll released its Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2023 in June, and the list hosts some expected and some surprise names.

How is the brand value calculated?

The report provides a ranking of India’s 25 most powerful celebrity brands, based on brand values derived from their brand endorsement portfolios and relative social media presence.

Six sportspersons in the top 25!

​Let’s take a look at the 6 sports persons that made it to the top 25:

Virat Kohli

Claiming the top spot on this list, Virat Kohli became India’s most valued celebrity with a brand value of a whopping $227.9 million.​

MS Dhoni

Owing to his multiple brand endorsements, the retired skipper ranked seventh on the list. He was recently in the news due to his significant investment in BluSmart.

Sachin Tendulkar

Regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time, Sachin Tendulkar claimed the 8th spot and had a brand value of $91.3 million, up from $73.6 million last year.

Rohit Sharma

The T20 WC winning captain ranked 18th with a brand value of $41mn. Despite slipping down 5 places from 2022, he remains a sought-after brand, with as many as 30 endorsements.

Hardik Pandya

Ranked 19th, Hardik invested in the omnichannel consumer food brand, Yu, and endorses Taco Bell among many other brands.

Neeraj Chopra

The Olympic gold medallist jumped to the 21st place with multiple new brand endorsements like Gatorade and his collaboration with Eveready.
