Sri Lanka’s win against Afghanistan has confirmed the teams that will play the Super 4 stage. The Super 4 will essentially act like a semi-final to decide the two finalists for the tournament.

The four teams that have qualified for the Super 4 stage are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The Super 4 stage will begin on Wednesday, September 6, with Bangladesh taking on Pakistan at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

After rain played spoilsport in the much awaited India vs Pakistan clash in group stage, the two arch rivals will face off again in the Super 4 stage much to the delight of cricket fans.

India, like the rest of the teams, will play three matches against the rest of the qualifiers in the Super 4 stage.

India will take on Pakistan at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on September 10 at 3 PM.

India will then take on Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on September 12 at 3 PM.

India’s final Super 4 match will be against Bangladesh, at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on September 15 at 3 PM.

The Asia Cup final will be held at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on September 17.

India can again play against Pakistan in the finals if the two south Asian cricket giants top the Super 4 stage. It is to be noted that both have never faced each other in an Asia Cup final.
