UEFA decided to move the final championship league venue from Saint Petersburg to Paris in the wake of theRussian-Ukraine conflict .- It further said in a tweet that the match will be played as initially scheduled on Saturday 28 May at 21:00 CET.
- The UEFA Executive Committee also decided that Russian and Ukrainian clubs and national teams competing in UEFA competitions will be required to play their home matches at neutral venues until further notice.
The decision was taken in an extraordinary meeting conducted by the UEFA Executive Committee following the grave escalation of the security situation in Europe.
The UEFA further mentioned in its tweet that the match will be played as initially scheduled on Saturday 28 May at 21:00 CET.

It further said, “At today’s meeting, the UEFA Executive Committee also decided that Russian and Ukrainian clubs and national teams competing in UEFA competitions will be required to play their home matches at neutral venues until further notice.”
Russia was supposed to host the UEFA Championship League 2021 final, but due to COVID-19 travel restrictions it was moved to Porto, Portugal.
