The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced its decision to move the Champions League final, which was supposed to be held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, to Paris in the wake of the Russian-Ukraine conflict.

The decision was taken in an extraordinary meeting conducted by the UEFA Executive Committee following the grave escalation of the security situation in Europe.
