West Indies’ all-rounder overtook Lasith Malinga by taking his 171st wicket on March 31, 2022, against Lucknow Super Giants. He also has a record of picking the 4-wicket haul in an innings twice so far.

Lasith Malinga — 170 wickets

Fondly nicknamed ‘Slinga Malinga’, he is often regarded as one of the greatest limited-overs bowlers of all time. Malinga took 170 wickets in his entire IPL career with a strike rate of 16.6.

Amit Mishra — 166 wickets

Attacking right-arm leg-break bowler, who has played for Deccan Chargers, Delhi Capitals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad, stands third in the list with 166 wickets with an average of 23.95.
