It's been a long climb for women in sports media.

Trailblazers like Anita Martini, the first woman allowed in an MLB locker room, and Rhonda Glenn, the first woman to host SportsCenter, fought for equal access and opportunities for women in sports media decades ago.

Today, significant progress has been made, but opportunities are far from equal. As of the most recent report from the Associated Press Sports Editors in 2021, just 14.5% of reporters and 16.7% of editors were women. Women made up 36.3% of upper management and 19.3% of the entire staff.

Insider is putting together a list that will highlight the top women executives in sports media. We're looking for C-suites, presidents and vice presidents, board members, and other top business leaders shaping sports media during a changing time for the industry as we know it.

We want your input. Please submit nominations, including names and recent examples of their work, using this form (or below) by September 8.
