Now, India is gearing up for a Super Monday that could potentially see the country clinch up to five more Olympic medals. With crucial events lined up in shooting and archery, here's a look at the day’s anticipated highlights and India's medal hopes.

Shooting, 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Event — 2 medals on the line

The shooting arena is set to be a focal point for Indian fans, with two crucial events offering the potential for up to three medals. The 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Event will see Indian pairs Manu Bhaker-Sarabjot Singh and Rhythm Sangwan-Arjun Cheema Singh taking aim.

Both teams will compete in the qualification round starting at 12:45 PM IST, with hopes pinned on securing spots in the medal rounds. If they manage to secure a top-four finish, India could walk away with two medals from this event.

Shooting, 10m Air Rifle Finals — 2 medals on the line

Later in the day, Ramita Jindal and Arjun Babuta will aim for individual glory in their respective 10m Air Rifle finals. Jindal, who secured a place in the final by finishing 5th in the qualifications, will begin her final at 1:00 PM IST.

The trio is set to face either Colombia or Turkey in the quarterfinals of the Men’s Team Event, starting at 5:45 PM IST. A victory here would propel them into the medal rounds, adding to India's chances of a podium finish.

As the Indian contingent prepares for this high-stakes day, all eyes will be on these key events, hoping for a historic haul of medals that would mark a significant achievement for the nation.
