Darren Jason Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed, has a massive 2.8 crore subscriber count. Renowned for his outrageous stunts and animated reactions (including his signature barking!), he’s now turned heads with his boldest claim yet—suggesting he can outrace an Olympic sprinter.

Reacting to a clip of Swoboda’s Olympic races, IShowSpeed boldly declared: “Nobody in the world can beat me in a race. There is no point in my life where I ever lost a race. That's why people called me Speed when I was little, because I never lost a race.”

However, the 19-year-old is not all talk. Just recently, he made headlines with his athletic prowess, by leaping over a speeding Lamborghini and a McLaren! Before that, he even bested a professional footballer in a foot race, proving he’s got the chops to back up his claims.

Now, Ewa Swoboda, who is representing her country Poland on the Olympic stage, has fired back with a challenge of her own! While she knows IShowSpeed as just ‘a YouTuber who occasionally pops up on my Instagram,’ she was amused to learn about the challenge from her parents.

“My Mom and Dad, I called them to brag that I just got a tattoo, I got the Olympic rings, and they told me, ‘Oh my God Ewa, did you see that some YouTuber just challenged you?’” Swoboda shared.

She then went on to playfully suggest: “The day before the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial on August 24, there will be a race at the Silesian Stadium, where the winners of the RMF FM contest will run 100 metres with me, so maybe he still has time to sign up.”

If IShowSpeed does take up the challenge and travel to Poland, he’ll undoubtedly face a formidable competitor. Swoboda has clocked an impressive 10.99 seconds for the 100m this season, although she narrowly missed a spot in the final with an 11.08-second semi-final run. Nevertheless, the 27-year-old sprinter is gearing up for one last shot at an Olympic medal in the 4x100m relay.

With the stage set for what could be an electrifying showdown, fans are eagerly awaiting whether IShowSpeed will put his speed to the test against an Olympic sprinter.
