This year, the league will be played in Mumbai and Pune as the COVID-19 cases are declining in India. In the last season, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had to put a halt on the matches in April as the COVID-19 cases were on the peak in India. The rest of the matches were then resumed in Dubai.
