CSK’s Ambati Rayudu caught a skier from Gill off a ball from Ravindra Jadeja except that it was later found that the ball had hit the spidercam, the one that’s suspended high above the ground, held together by cables.

The ball was declared dead due to the intervention and Gill had to be brought back to the crease. Gill had scored 31 till that moment and went on to add another 9 runs in what was left of Jadeja’s over including two boundaries.

Gill eventually fell at 53 off 43 balls with 67 runs left to chase in 46 balls. Deepak Chahar took the wicket in his fourth over before closing his spell of four over conceding a total of 31 runs and the one wicket of Shubman Gill.
