Other than winning the title four times, CSK has also been a runner-up in three IPL seasons under Dhoni’s leadership.

With Dhoni in charge, CSK has proved to be one of the most successful teams in the IPL franchise who failed to qualify for the playoffs only once since 2008.

In 2021, he completed 300 IPL matches, becoming the first captain to reach this landmark in IPL history.
