This is 11-year-old Ukrainian athlete Kira Makogonenko, who combines acrobatics, instincts, and punching to great effect in boxing routines which she posts on Instagram.

After performing a back-flip, Makogonenko attacks a heavy bag with a series of right hooks.

But it is videos like this which have been watched more than 125,000 times as Makogonenko lands two back-flips and dozens of punches, all while blindfolded.

She already has 151,000 followers on Instagram. In one photo, she poses alongside Roy Jones Jr., a former four-weight world champion who was renowned for his extraordinary athleticism.

Makogonenko called Jones Jr. boxing history's No.1 pound-for-pound fighter.

In another, she is seen in the middle of the ring with Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk shortly after he won the World Boxing Super Series final, the Muhammad Ali trophy, and unified the cruiserweight world titles in 2018.

In a separate post, she called Usyk her favorite current fighter in the world today.

 

Like another famous fighting Ukrainian, Wladimir Klitschko, Makogonenko appears to have a strategic mind and enjoys flexing her mental muscle while playing chess.
