One thing to know: Newton was named NFC offensive player of the week. His numbers are inching upwards, but is it enough to win MVP? Considering the Panthers' schedule is very favorable, there is a good chance they will go 15-1 or 16-0 in the regular season. If they do, it will be hard not to vote for Newton.

One thing to know: Jeff Zrebiek notes that Steve Smith, who is out for the season, accounted for more than 30% of Flacco's passing yards, and that was when people thought Flacco was too inconsistent.

One thing to know: Stafford is on pace to finish the season with a career record of 37-56 in games he has started. According to Kevin Seifert, only one quarterback in NFL history had as many starts with fewer wins, Archie Manning. So that bodes wells for Stafford's kids.

One thing to know: Coach Jay Gruden says he is relying more on Cousins the last few games because of an inexperienced offensive line and a rookie running back.

One thing to know: Manning is on pace for 18 touchdown passes and 26 interceptions. He would join Eli Manning (2013) and Brett Favre (2005) as the only players in the last 27 years with fewer than 20 touchdown passes and more than 25 interceptions.
