5 times MS Dhoni single-handedly won matches for India

The second match of 5-match ODI series against Pakistan was played at Vishakhapatnam on 5 April. This was the match when Dhoni was launched. At a time, when the people were disheartened to find Tendulkar and Ganguly get out too soon, Dhoni was unbeaten scoring 113. With 15 boundaries and 4 over boundaries, he helped India score 356 on the board.

Sri Lanka had scored a mammoth 298 in this match played at Jaipur. While Sachin went back to the pavilion early, MS Dhoni pulled India throughout. With 23 balls to spare, India emerged victorious, thanks to Dhoni’s sizzling 183 not out.
