SpiceJet reports profit of Rs 73 crore in Q4 last fiscal year

SpiceJet reports profit of RS 73 crore in Q4 last fiscal. The airline said that the amount of profit is despite the airline provisioning Rs 173 crore for stabilizing and reliability of its fleet.

The airline also said that they have reported the highest-ever profit of RS 407 crore during FY 2016 as against a loss of Rs 687 crore during FY 2015.

Last quarter has been the best-ever quarter. We have cleared all financial dues and will start on a clean slate," said SpiceJet Chairman Ajay Singh.

SpiceJet said that the airline's operational revenues grew by 86% and the airline earned revenues of Rs 1475 crore
