Feb 24, 2014, 12:50 IST
With deals and discounts running so often its easier for a traveller to fly within India. Spicejet has again enabled its scheme to book cheaper flights, but this time they are giving higher discounts. People who book their tickets with Spicejet in the next 2 days can avail 75% discount on the base airfare. The offer ends mid night on Wednesday, Feb 24.

Seems like the previous two similar efforts made by Spicejet have brought brilliant results for them, which is the reason they have brought the advance booking scheme again. Like always the offer is valid on limited seats and first come first serve basis. Under the scheme ‘Super Summer Sale’ people can get cheaper air fare only on flights booked for travel between 1 April to 30 June, 2014.

This is the first time any carrier in the country has given discounts three times in a row at short intervals. It will be interesting to see how Spicejet’s competitors react to the situation. Will Indigo and Go Air give similar discounts as well? Probably yes. But for how long can these companies follow suit and give discounts every time a rival flight operator decides to do so?
