This July,
Indian Railways is planning to launch a special double-decker, AC train service for overnight journeys on popular routes.
Christened as the
Utkrisht Double-Decker AC Yatri Express, or
Uday Express, the train will only have comfortable reclining chairs as against the general practice of
sleeper berths. Equipped with hot food and beverage vending machines, LCD television screens, and wi-fi enabled headphones, each coach will have a capacity of 120 people.

The coaches will also have bio-toilets, and the interiors would sport a
modern look.
