Two Indian B-schools – IIM-Ahmedabad and SP Jain School of Global Management – are among the best business schools in the world, according to The Economist’s new rankings.
While, IIM-Ahmedabad is a 50-year old legacy institution, SP Jain School is the youngest B-school in the world to be in the group of giants. It is only 11-year-old school.
The Economist’s 2015 ranking has placed SP Jain Global in the company of Ivy league schools like Chicago Business School, Harvard, MIT, Sloan, Kellogg, Wharton and other big international schools.
Six weeks ago SP Jain Global, which has campuses in Dubai, Singapore, Sydney and Mumbai, was ranked as the 10th best international one-year MBA in the world by Forbes.
For the past five of eleven years, SP Jain Global, which started its journey in 2004, has been ranked among the best schools in the world.
SP Jain School president Nitish Jain said: “The ranking has placed the school among the best business school in the world. It is humbling and, at the same time, electrifying!”
