S&P 1700

The S&P 500 just broke above 1700 for the first time ever at the opening bell.

The index has made a series of new all-time highs this year, and is currently up 19.3% year-to-date.

This morning, the S&P 500 is trading up 0.9% from yesterday's close, right at 1701.
