Sony Xperia Z2 Comes To India For Rs 49,990

This is one of the most anticipated mobile launches of the season. Sony today has brought their flagship model to India with a bang. Before this we saw Samsung getting its Galaxy S4 and HTC bringing the One (M8) to India.

This new Sony handset is one of the best looking smartphone right now. Besides having a classy 5.2-inch IPS touchscreen, which supports Full HD graphics, the phone has a 20.7 MP rear camera. This is one of the USP’s that Sony is banking upon, as the rear camera can take videos not in HD but in Ultra HD. And did we forget to tell you that the Xperia Z2 is dust and water proof as well. That’s true, you can dip the phone in water and nothing will happen to it.

All the slots are neatly tucked behind waterproof flaps so that no water seeps in. But, what according to us is its OTT (over the top) feature, is its design. The slim bezel is 8.2 mm thick and seems like this phones designers were inspired by Sony’s own T series of slim cameras. The phone has 3 GB RAM and 16 GB on board memory with the option to expand it further by 128GB, using a memory card. As for the CPU it has the 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Krait processor.

Sony is also giving the Smart Band worth Rs 5,990 along with the phone. The phone is priced at Rs 49,990.
