While the gamers in India are still waiting for the next generation of PlayStation to come here. Andrew House, President and Group CEO, Sony Entertainment Systems has announced they have already sold 2.1 million units since launch. More than 1 million units were sold in the first 24 hours of release.

PS4 sales have gone live in over 32 countries now, including the ones in Europe and Latin America. Date of launch for India is still unclear but websites such as Ebay India are already selling the new console for a premium of Rs 60,000. This is definitely on the higher side as the original price will be much lower, when it is officially launched in India. According to the Indian PS4 website, there are over 180 games in development for PS4 that will gradually roll out and many should be seen in the next couple of quarters.
