The Delhi police has received an email threatening a bomb attack on the apex court days after a death threat was made against the apex court’s judge Justice Dipak Misra.

The email was received on Monday following which the security inside and around the premises has been tightened up. The highest court of India is located at Tilak Marg in Delhi.

Incidentally, Justice Misra is one of the three Supreme Court judges who turned down the final plea against hanging of 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon.

Police said the mail first landed in the inbox of a person, whose identity was not disclosed, who forwarded it to them.
