Snapdeal’s logistics arm Vulcan Express is on sale and many companies have expressed interest.
Companies such as Gati, Peepul Capital, TVS Logistics, etc have shown keen interest to acquire Vulcan Express and the deal may get sealed in coming two months.
Reportedly, Snapdeal wants to seal Vulcan Express deal at around Rs 90-120 crore.
The deal is expected to provide relief to Snapdeal monetarily as the owners continue to negotiate the deal with Flipkart.
Interestingly, Snapdeal is now looking for other parties also as exclusivity period with Flipkart for a transaction, which also included sale of Vulcan, ended this month.
However, it could be tough.
Meanwhile, sources told ET that a potential acquisition of Vulcan Express may be routed by Warburg through one of its portfolio companies in India. This, however, could not be independently verified ET.
Vulcan Express, which provides end-to-end logistics services, was formed in 2014 and has nearly one million square feet in warehousing space.
