The mobile messenger app has raised another $486 million, according to SEC filing made Wednesday. The filing says it was an equity raise by 23 investors, but it's unclear who's funding it.
The funding brings the total raised by Snapchat to more than $649 million. It comes just four months after raising $20 million at a $10 billion valuation in August. Its investors include Benchmark, Kleiner Perkins, and General Catalyst Partners.
Founded in 2011 by a group of Stanford students, Snapchat currently has over 100 million users, mostly between the age of 13 and 25.
