Get to know it better: The dessert which is available at Serendipity 3 in New York, is considered to be the official dessert of the 1%. The Frrrozen Haute Chocolate, billed as one of the most expensive desserts in the world was created in partnership with lucury jeweler Euphoria New York and is made with the finest blend of over 28 of the world’s most rarest cocoas and comes decorated with 5 grams od edible 23-karat gold. That’s not where the magic stops. It continues. The dessert is served in a globlet lined with edible gold (with a base wrapped by an 18-karat gold bracelet embellished with 1 carat of white diamonds) and a gold spoon speckled with white and chocolate-coloured diamonds no less. If you are all for bankruptcy by chocolate, this is the dessert you should be splurging on.

Get to know it better: Move out Dunkin Donuts, this donut is flecked with 24-karat gold and is made with Cristal champagne and filled with ube mousse, made from mashed purple Filipino yams and champagne jelly.

Price: Rs 40,000 for approximately 40 grams
Get to know it better: Imagine paying Rs 3,500 for a mug of coffee- that too brewed from partly-eaten coffee beans excreted by cats. Doesn’t sound too appetizing now, does it? Well, that’s the core idea of Indonesia’s infamous Kopi Luwak coffee beans which are causing a stir one coffee drop a time.
