Work from home
If your office has the option, try working from home. The less you are exposed to the particulate pollutants, safer are you.
Nights are the worst
In Delhi, nights are colder. Pollution level has a tendency to go up when the temperature drops. So going out after sunset isn’t a good option. If you want to hangout choose malls, where the space is closed and properly air circulated.
Relocate
In case you have an opportunity, you may try this absurd idea for good. These days’ doctors are advising new parents to stay in the outskirts of the city where the pollution level is low. People in Delhi are seen relocating to Sohna Road in Gurgaon and Greater Noida.
Rely on ayurveda
Popping up a pill to cure pollution is still a distant dream. Rely on ginger, tea, basil and other organic herbs to cleanse your system.
Take more vacations
If nothing has convinced you so far, pollution is the best bait to take more vacations. Travel to forests, hills and beaches more often. This would help you with refreshed energy and cleanse your respiratory system.
Plant trees
This may sound a little absurd, but that’s how truth is. Each one needs to take individual initiative. Also it’s recommended to plant more indoor plants to purify the air.
Buy an air purifier
Having entered the market lately, air purifiers have already shown a steep rise in net sales. If you can shell out Rs 35000 at a go, buying a good quality air purifier is highly recommended. Avoid the ones with ionizers and UV lights. These release ozone as a by-product.
