The property: An entire apartment
Now, I was a little worried about having a whole apartment to myself because the host wasn’t there & I still live with my parents but it worked out fine. Mainly because it looked like this.
This house was everything I hoped for except more fun. The balcony was to die for, the rooms were tastefully done and minimalistic and the whole house had adventure written all over it (literally).
Pros and cons-cequence
USP: The books
My favorite part about the house were the books. Someone said that a house without books is a body without soul- touché! My host owned most of the books that I’d read or wanted to read & that just made the sweet in the home sweet home for me.
The cons:
Now about the experience; the house was neat but I couldn’t use the bathtub as it wasn’t squeaky clean. Bangalore was windy so it was great to walk around the apartment area which was a breeze. My only real complaint was that I didn’t get one B- breakfast but that was because the helpers were out that day. I won’t cringe much but I like my brunch & food is most impressionable.
The listing.
This listing was called the Penthouse but I wish it was called renthouse because that’s what I wanna do. One night at this property costed me close to INR 2700 but it keeps fluctuating according to demand.
Here’s the link to it.
AirBnB endorses giving you a sense of what it’s like to live in a city; this house was a lot like love (in a city).
It just made me want to travel the world & still come back home. This is that kind of home.
