These are the best tech-themed and internet-inspired Halloween costumes in 2019, from Elizabeth Holmes to AirPods
Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of failed blood-testing startup Theranos, was a big hit this year for Halloween, to the extent it may have caused a shortage of black turtlenecks around Silicon Valley. One person to get in on the trend was famed journalist Katie Couric.
A venture capitalist with the firm First Round donned a cape and gold chain to be the email startup Superhuman.

The CEO of Cloudflare — a tech company with a recently successful IPO — trolled WeWork by dressing up as ousted CEO Adam Neumann. Matthew Prince donned Neumann's long hair and notable "Made by We" t-shirt.
Thank you for the costume inspiration! Pretty incredible how quickly you can get a tshirt printed after seeing a clever Tweet on a lazy Sunday afternoon. pic.twitter.com/vPMlBlYJ7H

— Andrew Brackin (@brackin) October 27, 2019Working on Halloween can be a little more difficult, however, if you're honoring public transportation. A Twitter user dressed up as a MARTA bus, an ode to the transit system in Atlanta.

— Morgan Jacobus (@morgan_jacobus) October 31, 2019Arguably the most notable influencer of 2019, Caroline Calloway, was a popular pick for "Calloween." People donned flower crowns, shirts reading "scammer," and Yale plates to replicate the infamous influencer.
Halloween also brought out the largest (and cutest) pair of AirPods ever known. Canadian TV personality Jessi Cruickshank dressed up her young twins as a pair of AirPods (the first generation), and even earned a Twitter shoutout from Apple CEO Tim Cook.

— Tim Cook (@tim_cook) October 31, 2019The 23andMe DNA testing kit was a source of inspiration from the queen of the DNA test herself, "Truth Hurts" singer Lizzo. The costume came with a sparkly swab, and opened up to reveal the DNA results: "100% that b----."
Washington, D.C.'s love-hate relationship with its city's electric scooters was on full display with this Twitter user's inventive costume of a Lime e-bike.

YouTuber Jaclyn Hill opted to go tongue-in-cheek this Halloween, dressing up as "cancel culture" following a disastrous launch of her own lipstick line earlier this year.
