The strong bull market in CY24 allowed Indian firms to access capital at higher valuations, where Indian companies raised a staggering Rs 3.5 lakh crore (USD 41bn) across 438 diverse issuances. While CY24 witnessed IPOs raising Rs 1,62,800 crore, with an impressive 31% weighted average listing premium, some IPOs disappointed the investors by listing on discounts as high as 46%, according to a report by domestic brokerage firm Nuvama.
