Britain's General Election is just weeks away and the British media is readying itself for wall-to-wall coverage come polling day on May 7. Sky has decided to play the humour card for its coverage, and has created a parody video dubbed #BallotBallad, which the broadcaster is currently running on its Sky News TV channel, as well as posting it on YouTube.

It's "decision time," Sky explains in the clip. It captures Prime Minister David Cameron, Labour leader Ed Miliband, Lib Dem top man Nick Clegg, and UKIP's Nigel Farage appearing to mouth along to the lyrics of Boyz II Men's classic 90s pop hit "I Swear."

The song's lyrics include:

You'll only cry those happy tears
And though I'll make mistakes
I'll never break your heart

Sky has probably been inspired by similar YouTube dubs by Cassetteboy - check out his "Conference Rap."

Cameron looks wistful.

Farage swears "by the moon and the stars in the sky."

Miliband looks the part, if a little out of season.

Seductive Clegg.

On Thursday night, ITV is broadcasting its live "Leaders' Debate" at 8pm GMT, which is also being aired by the BBC and Sky.It's the only time the two biggest political big-hitters, Cameron and Miliband, will go head-tohead to discuss the topics of the General Election in a live TV debate.

Clegg, Farage, and other party leaders from the Green Party, the Scottish National Party, and Plaid Cymru from Wales will also be involved.

Here's a bonus shot of Farage.

And here's Sky's video in full. It has racked up more than 30,000 views since it was first posted to YouTube on March 30.
