Singapore’s Diwali-themed trains are nothing like you’ve seen before. Take a look

Diwali is just round the corner and excitement for the festival of lights has started building in. Diwali melas, cards parties, shopping, colourful lights, etc are taking the festive fervour higher.
As India is excited for Diwali, Singapore also seems to be excited and is soaking itself in the Indian festive season. Yes, this Diwali, Singaporeans are also going to celebrate the festival of lights in the same grandeur and enthusiasm and the preparations have already begun.
In a first-of-its kind initiative, The Land Transport Authority in Singapore has launched Diwali-themed trains.
The trains are decked up with colourful pictures, banners reading ‘Happy Deepawali’, elegant elements such as lotus and peacock, etc.

You must see the Little India station, which is brightly lit, keeping Diwali theme in mind. The authority has decorated North East Line and Downtown Line platforms as well.
