Interestingly he has been nominated 226 times for various films award. His first break was on a TV series Fauji on Doordarshan where he was paid Rs 50 only for his role. Since 1988, SRK (as Shah Rukh is popularly called) has toiled a lot to become the king of the film industry. With a huge fan following, SRK comes with one or two movies a year. While recently not all movies did well at the box office, Shah Rukh’s most films, prior to 2015 would always be a mega hit.
