The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Jinero are less than 100 days away. The Olympic trails for each sport are being held through the months of June and July.

There are many US hopefuls that are training to represent the country. Kellogg's is an official sponsor of the games and has put a team together of five hopefuls and a captain - captain and retired Olympic swimmer Dara Torres, Simone Biles, Tom Shields, Julie Johnston, Ajee Wilson, and Natalie Bieule.

On Thursday, April 28th, these athletes met at Union Square in New York City to showcase their talent and talk about what gets them started in the mornings. Business Insider got a chance to meet and speak with each of them.
