Now we are hearing murmurs regarding the second lot of Android One devices coming into the market soon. As per a Press Trust of India (PTI), Karbonn is planning to release its second Android One smartphone around late December this year.

A report by Android OS adds that post the launch of the new Android One Device by Karbonn, even Spice will be outing its second offering. This device will be available to the Indian customers by Q1 of 2015. The report also goes on to add that another Indian player, Intex, is also expected to launch its first Android One phone in the Q1 of the next year.

It is noteworthy that Google, on the day of launch for Android One smartphones, had shared a list of new partners that will be joining the program. Intex was one of the new comers to be mentioned in the list. So far, there is no word on the other new members such as HTC, Asus, and Acer as to when they will be outing their Android One smartphones.

Up till now, Android One Smartphones that are there in the market are powered by a MediaTek chipset but now even Qualcomm has joined the party. So we are really excited to see the first Android smartphones that will run on Snapdragon chipsets but so far there are no timelines available for that.
