New Delhi, Feb 3 () Copper prices on Monday traded up by Rs 1.65 at Rs 428 per kg in futures market on the back of pick-up in spot demand.
 On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in February traded higher by Rs 1.65, or 0.39 per cent, at Rs 428 per kg in a business turnover of 2,576 lots.
 Similarly, the metal for delivery in March edged up by Rs 1.80, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 430 per kg in 79 lots.
 Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to raising of bets by participants driven by a pick-up in spot demand. VHP SHW

New Delhi, Jan 31 () Copper prices on Friday traded up by Rs 1.70 at Rs 428.20 per kg in futures market on the back of pick-up in spot demand.
 On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in February traded higher by Rs 1.70, or 0.40 per cent, at Rs 428.20 per kg in a business turnover of 2,177 lots.
 Similarly, the metal for delivery in March edged up by Rs 1.60, or 0.37 per cent, to Rs 429.90 per kg in 30 lots.
 Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to raising of bets by participants driven by a pick-up in spot demand. VHP SHW

Copper futures gain on spot demand

New Delhi, Feb 5 () IT major Wipro on Wednesday moved out of the list of top-20 most valued companies by market capitalisation giving way to Avenue Supermarts, which runs the D-Mart supermarkets chain. At close of trade, the market capitalisation (m-cap) of Avenue Supermarts was at Rs 1,41,205.36 crore, which is Rs 2,777.03 crore more than that of Wipro's Rs 1,38,428.33 crore valuation on the BSE. Avenue Supermarts is now placed at the 20th rank in the list of top 100 companies by market cap, while Wipro has taken the 21st position. Shares of Avenue Supermarts jumped 4.35 per cent, while those of Wipro gained 0.85 per cent on the BSE. Avenue Supermarts had got listed on the bourses on March 21, 2017. Since its listing, shares of the company have zoomed 251 per cent. Reliance Industries Limited is the country's most valued firm with a m-cap of Rs 9,17,953.13 crore followed by TCS Rs 8,04,980.33 crore. Wipro moves out of top-20 most valued cos list by m-cap, Avenue Supermarts grabs 20th ranking

Just after Idea cellular<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Ideaends-493-million-deal-with-Videocon/articleshow/51438237.cms"> ended the multi million dollar deal</a> with Videocon, Bharti Airtel has announced that it will do a bandwidth trading deal to acquire Videocon Telecom's spectrum in six circles for Rs 4,428 crore. The states are Bihar, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, UP (East), UP (West) and Gujarat, and the spectrum would be valid up to December 18, 2032. 
 
"Bharti Airtel has entered into a definitive agreement with Videocon Telecommunications Limited to acquire, at an aggregate consideration of Rs 4,428 crore rights to use 2 x 5 MHz spectrum in the 1800 MHz Band," said <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Bharti-Airtel-acquiresYTS-Solutions-Deal-will-boost-wallet-services/articleshow/48333172.cms">Airtel </a>in a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange. 
 
"The closing of the transaction is subject to satisfaction of the standard conditions, including conditions stated in the Spectrum Trading Guidelines," it added.

Airtel goes one-up on Idea, buys Videocon's spectrum for Rs 4,428 cr

Ahmedabad, Jun 16 () Honouring the Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani's appeal to support MSMEs hit by coronavirus-induced lockdown, nationalised banks in the state disbursed loans worth over Rs 2,400 crore in the last 15 days. Out of total 89,767 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) which had applied for loans during this two weeks time, almost 97 per cent or 87,834 applications were approved by the banks, said a release by the Gujarat government on Tuesday. While loans worth Rs 5,373 crore has been approved for these 87,834 applicants, Rs 2,428 crore has already been disbursed to 31,000 of these MSMEs in the last 15 days, the release said. Earlier on May 30, Rupani chaired a virtual meeting through video conferencing facility with bank officials and industry representatives to discuss ways to help MSME units hit by the lockdown. As per a rough estimate, Gujarat has around 33 lakh MSME units providing employment to 1.5 crore people, said the release. Honouring Rupani's appeal, nationalised banks disbursed Rs 2,428 crore in the last 15 days, the release said, adding that some private banks have also come forward to provide loans to the MSME units. By this count, <keyword id="50376" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Pittsburgh">Pittsburgh</keyword> saw the most growth, followed by Vegas suburb Henderson and Austin.
That compares with <a href="http://www.uhaul.com/Articles/About/693/U-Haul-Ranks-Nashville-Tenn--As-2011-Top-US-Growth-City">2011's ranking</a>, which saw Nashville, Oakland and Denver on top. Pittsburgh didn't even make the list that year!

It is the third largest milk producer in the country, with its milk procurement standing at 1.03 million litres per day. Dodla Dairy's ₹520 crore initial share-sale was subscribed 45.62 times at a price band of ₹421-428 apiece. US GDP could slump by as much as 42.8% in the 2nd quarter, Atlanta Fed says

New Delhi, <keyword id="45609" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="JSW-Steel" source="Orion">JSW Steel</keyword> on Friday posted about three-fold jump in net profit at Rs 2,428 crore for June quarter 2023-24 on account of higher income. It had posted Rs 839 crore net profit in the corresponding period of 2022-23, JSW Steel said in a regulatory filing. Total income also rose to Rs 42,544 crore from Rs 38,275 crore in the year-ago quarter, it said. Expenses were at Rs 39,030 crore as against Rs 36,977 crore earlier. JSW Steel is the flagship business of diversified JSW Group, which has presence in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, cement, paints, sports, and venture capital. The company's board at its meeting held on Friday appointed Swayam Saurabh as Chief Financial Officer designate, it said.
