IN PICS: Comet NEOWISE spotted blazing from the Stonehenge to the Swiss Alps, in skies all over the world

The Stonehenge, the Swiss Alps, and even in outer space, Comet NEOWISE has been spotted blazing across the sky all over the world. Skygazers worldwide have their cameras trained to comets streaks across the planet with its two brightly coloured tails of gas and dust.

Satellite data suggests that the comet could even have three tails with a new tail spewing sulphur in the direction of the Sun making it difficult to spot from Earth.

The comet is so bright is it’s expected to be visible to the naked eye for another 15 days. It will be closest to Earth on July 23 — a mere 101 million kilometres out.
