Two lunar and two
Among the two partial solar eclipses of 2022, the first occurred on April 30. The second and the last solar eclipse of the year will be visible from most parts of Europe, Northeast Africa and Western Asia. Here is a list of the eclipse timings in different parts of the world.
In Reykjavik, Iceland, the solar eclipse will start at 8:58 a.m., reach its peak at 9:46 a.m. and will end at 10:35 a.m. In this region, only 19% of the sun will be seen eclipsed during the event.
In London, United Kingdom, the solar eclipse will start at 10:08 a.m., attain its peak at 10:59 a.m., and end at 11:51 a.m. During the peak of the eclipse, only about 15% of the sun will be covered when viewed from this region.
In Cairo, Egypt, the solar eclipse will start at 12 p.m. The peak of the eclipse will happen at 1:09 p.m. and end at 2:16 p.m. During the maximum phase of the eclipse, around 26% of the sun will be obscured from vision.
In Moscow, Russia, the last solar eclipse of 2022 will start at 12:24 p.m., reaching its peak at around 1:38 p.m. The eclipse will end at 2:51 p.m. Viewed from this region, a maximum of 63% of the sun will be obscured from sight during the peak of the eclipse.
In Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the solar eclipse will start at 2:41 p.m., reach the peak at 3:51 p.m. and end at 4:54 p.m. The maximum eclipse will hide not more than 39% of the sun when viewed from this region.
In Delhi, the capital of India, the solar eclipse will start at 04:29 p.m. on October 25. The peak time of the eclipse will be observed at 05:30 pm and the eclipse can be seen only till 5:42 pm as the sun will set in India at this time. Viewed from this region, a maximum of 44% of the sun will be obscured during the maximum phase of the eclipse.
