Whatever we eat impacts our blood sugar levels, but the intensity of that impact largely depends on the food. Over time, high blood sugar levels can damage the body and increase the risk of certain diseases. Here’s a list of foods that are not good for your blood sugar levels.

Refined or processed carbohydrates, such as white bread and refined flour lack essential nutrients and fiber, making it easy for the body to convert them into glucose. This rapid conversion leads to a sharp spike in blood sugar levels.
