Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali was forced to pull 14 products from shelves after authorities in Uttarakhand suspended their manufacturing licenses. The company informed the Supreme Court that they instructed all their franchise stores (over 5,600) to stop selling the products.

The reason for the suspension is "repeated violations" of advertising regulations. The Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 was cited for the violation. Patanjali has since requested media platforms to remove all advertising for the affected items.

The products whose manufacturing licenses were revoked are touted to target various parts of the body and promise to help alleviate certain health conditions.
