Sanjiv Puri is the new COO of ITC

ITC, the FMCG major from India, has announced the appointment of Sanjiv Puri as its chief operating officer. Puri, who serves as ITC’s director, would be taking up the role with immediate effect.
It was in December last year that Puri, who joined ITC in 1986, was made the director of ITC, replacing P Dhobale, before which he was the president of FMCG Businesses for two years, taking care of segments as cigarettes, foods, personal care, education & stationery products, matches and agarbattis.
He also holds the responsibility for ITC's Packaging & Printing Business (PPB) and Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division (PSPD) business, since January this year.
