The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is the cheaper of the two, as its prices start at ₹69,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, on the other hand, is available for sale at ₹79,999 for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage device.

Both, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, can bought in Aura Black, Aura Glow and Aura White.

Samsung Galaxy S10 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 10

The South Korean manufacturer’s market share in India currently stands at 23%, according to Counterpoint — a large part of which came from strong sales of the Galaxy S10 series.

The Note 10 devices have a similar configuration to the Galaxy S10 phones, except for one critical difference — the screen size. But then again, that’s what Samsung’s Note series are known for.

Where the Samsung Galaxy S10 has a 6.1-inch screen and the S10 Plus has a 6.4-inch screen, the Galaxy Note 10 has a 6.3-inch screen with the Galaxy Note 10 Plus sporting a 6.8-inch display.

Going exclusively by screen size, the OnePlus 7 Pro is the Note 10 Plus’ main competitor with a screen size of 6.67-inches.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 features and specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a triple camera set up in the back with two 12-megapixel sensors and one 16-megapixel ultra wide camera lens. The hardware is fine tuned with autofocus, image stabilisation and a 2x optical zoom.

The phone’s selfie camera is a 10-megapixel sensor concealed in the screen’s punch hole notch.

Running on Android 9.0 Pie with the company’s customised One UI layered on top, the Galaxy Note 10 is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9825 chipset. It has the battery capacity of 3,500 mAh that supports fast charging of upto 25W as well as fast wireless charging on upto 12W and 9W reverse wireless charging.

Essentially, the higher the Watts, the more power there is and the faster the charging.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ specifications

On the surface, there aren’t a lot of differences between the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10 Plus. It has the same Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung’s One UI on top. The front and rear cameras have the same configurations.

Even the chipset on both the phones is identical.

But, at the end of the day, the Galaxy Note 10 Plus is better the real flagship between than the two for two reasons. One is the massive 6.8-inch Quad HD Plus Dynamic AMOLED panel with support for HDR 10 Plus.

Two, instead of being limited to 8GB RAM — which in itself is massive — the Galaxy Note 10 Plus has an enormous 12GB of RAM up for grabs in two variants. Users can either opt for 256GB or 512GB of storage.

Not to mention the battery upgrade from 3,500mAh on the Note 10 to 4,300mAh on the Note 10 Plus is more powerful 45W fast charging.

The Galaxy Note 10+ shares the remaining features with the Galaxy Note 10. It is powered by a bigger 4,300mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, 15W fast wireless charging and 9W reverse wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus offers and discounts

As a part of the launch, Samsung has announced a discount of ₹5,000 on the Galaxy Buds for anyone who buys a Galaxy Note 10 phone. It’s essentially a 50% discount, bringing the price of the Galaxy Buds down to ₹4,999.

Users can also buy the Galaxy Watch Active at a discount of ₹10,000, reducing the price from ₹19,990 to ₹9,999.

HDFC Bank credit card users can avail a cashback of ₹6,000 when buying either of the Galaxy phones from retail outlets or from the Samsung Online store. In the case of ICICI credit and debit card users, they can also avail ₹6,000 in cashback but only if they shop from Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm Mall or Tata Cliq.
