The Se Station, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, sees approximately 1.5 million people a day.

For some, going home for the holidays means a quiet retreat back to simple comforts.

But for most of us, it means pushing and shoving through a sea of stressed-out commuters as a train station or airport struggles to keep its schedule.
