Rupert Murdoch on Brexit: Government making 'obviously false claims' over EU

Rupert Murdoch has accused the UK government of making "false claims" and scaring voters into backing Britain to remain in the EU.

Murdoch posted the tweet below on Thursday:

Murdoch - whose company News UK owns The Times, The Sunday Times, and The Sun - has emerged as a clear supporter of a Brexit and has backed ministers who are campaigning for Britain to leave the EU on June 23.Last month, he offered his congratulations to Justice Secretary Michael Gove, tweeting:"Congratulations Michael Gove. Friends always knew his principles would overcome his personal friendships."
