B2B e-commerce supply portal MaxWholesale raises $150kMaxWholesale, Delhi-based B2B eCommerce platform, has raised $150,000 in seed round of financing by Maple Capital Advisors, Abhinav Grover (director at Maple Accelerator), investors including Ridhish Talwar, and investment bankers from New York. With this investment Abhinav Grover will join the board of the company. In a statement the company stated that the funds will be deployed to expand business and upgrade its technology platform.
Founded by Samarth Agrawal and Rohit Narang, the start-up acts as a medium between retail store owners and large companies. Through this platform, sellers can buy inventory for their stores.
Machine learning platform grabs $200k in Angel funding
Delhi-based machine learning platform, Neuron, has raised $200,000 in angel round of funding led by Harvinder Singh Bhatia, CFO Netmagic & Founder of Radiowala and Vinners group of angels. The company stated that the raised capital will be used for its R&D in machine learning and natural language processing to develop deep learning models with the best accuracy industrially possible and hire the best talent pool for machine learning.

Founded by Veer Mishra and Aaditya Kakde in 2014, the company acts as a natural language processing platform that provides API’s that help analyse the overall sentiment of a statement, extract the most significant word in a document, help know the similarity/relatedness of two statements, understand the context of documents, and categorize into topics.
Travel start-up Peek secures $10M
Peek, a San Francisco, CA-based web destination to discover and book tours & activities, raised $10M in funding from Pete Flint, David Bonderman, Ray Lane, Gigi Pritzker and Michael Pucker.
Launched in 2012 by Oskar Bruening and Ruzwana Bashir, Peek is a platform to discover and book tours & activities. It offers Peek Professional, which allows operators to manage and grow their businesses, as well as Peek.com and a mobile app that connects people with everyday adventures.
The company is also backed by Eric Schmidt (Innovation Endeavors), Jack Dorsey, David Bonderman, SV Angel and CAA.
