What the New York Times says the ultrawealthy are buying, from $530 napkins to $24,500 sport coats

Quiet luxury is trending among the ultrawealthy.

These subtle displays of wealth do not lean into logo mania. Instead, the details of the design, materials, and muted color palettes — and, of course, the cost — elevate a product.

The ultrawealthy's favorites include well-known designers like Prada and lesser-known brands like Loro Piana, the maker of Kendall Roy's $625 baseball cap in Succession, and Forbes & Lomax, the creator of a $220 light switch.
