Even as temperatures hit record highs across the US, some PSL fanatics are eager for the return of the beloved seasonal beverage.
Last week, Starbucks confirmed that the Pumpkin Spice Latte would return to menus this fall.
On Sunday, a Starbucks location in California posted on Instagram that it had received its Pumpkin Spice supplies. According to the account, Starbucks will launch the PSL on August 28.
A photo of another box of Pumpkin Spice sauce was posted to r/Starbucks by an apparent employee. Commenters in the Starbucks subreddit — many of whom are Starbucks employees — said the drink would return to menus in late August.
A Starbucks representative declined to confirm when the Pumpkin Spice Latte will return to menus.
"We know that customers are eager for the return of their beloved fall drinks from Starbucks and will keep you looped in on any details," the representative said.
It may feel too early to be talking about the Pumpkin Spice Latte. However, the buzz around the PSL usually starts in early August. Starbucks is known to sometimes switch up its PSL debut, offering an early launch for certain customers.
The drink typically launches right around Labor Day, which is on September 7 this year.
