Veronica Shaw — known as Chef Pii online— went viral on TikTok in June 2022 for her unusually bright, homemade pink sauce that she'd put on everything.

As Shaw's pink sauce gained more attention, questions about the sauce's ingredients started to arise from users who were hesitant to purchase homemade food from a stranger online.

Some TikTokers jumped at the opportunity to order the mysterious sauce and give their reviews to curious viewers. One user described the sauce as "like ranch but sweet."

As consumers got their pink sauce orders, the sauce's nutritional facts were called into question. Most notably, the bottle was labeled as having 444 servings of sauce in one bottle.

Shaw faced much criticism for her lack of expertise in food production but still scored a partnership with Dave's Gourmet company in August to safely produce her pink sauce.

On Wednesday, Dave's Gourmet announced that Shaw's Pink Sauce will launch exclusively at 4,300 Walmart locations in the US starting mid-January.
